Hello, my name is Philip and I'm a Facebookaholic.  I discovered this fact just this morning as I sat weeping at my computer because Facebook is down for maintainance.  I also have a strong dislike of Tuesdays, but thats a different story...

My facebook addiction has taken over many parts of my life.  I have neglected my xanga site for over a month and a half because I devote all my online time to facebook.  I have wasted countless hours looking thru photo albums of other peoples fun summers instead of going out and creating my own fun.

Loud noises

I hate fire alarms.  I woke up to one yesterday, and that was 5 seconds of absolute sheer terror, confusion, and entertainment for my coworkers.  I had lay down for quick nap in the morning before the boys got up, and sadly someone burnt some food on the stove, setting off the fire alarm.  And this is one of those uber loud, fills the air with unholiness, no way to escape the noise fire alarms.  Needless to say, I didn't quite know what was goin on.  I jumped off the couch and literally ran to the office out of confusion and lack of brain function.  Then I figured it out, and started herding the boys outside like a good Austrailian Shephard or something. 

And now I'm at work again for a 6 hour shift.  I hope it goes fastly, I want to relax a bit, haven't had much of a chance for that the past few days.

Ok, quick update since I never blog anymore!!  But I have an excuse, we have no internet at the house.  The thingy got unplugged and we don't have the technical jargon to hook up the whozit back to the thingy.  And we haven't called the smart dude at the computator shop yet because I at least am scared of people who actually understand these machines. 

I leave for CA in a few hours, yay!  Then its 3 straight days of having my nerves frayed by a frantic bride and mother of the bride.  And then 3 straight days of being told to help clean up from the blessed event while walking out the door for some fun day trip.  Tentative lineup for day trips goes: Ocean on day one, Yosemite on day two, and Mountains on day three.  Yay, go California where places to go totally rock. 

Ok, I leave now because I take off from SC in two hours and I haven't packed yet.  Bad call, bad call.

Update! update!!

Wow, so not working the night shift had drastically lowered my amount of posts.  But, this one is coming to you from work still.  Its early evening, and the boys are all occupied by activities of some sort or another.  So I have some free time to sit on the computer. 

This could best be described as the calm before the storm.  In a few days my parental units, along with several long lost friends will be showing up here for graduation.  So, of course, that means lots and lots of busyness, as I will be entertaining my parents and hanging out with friends.  Oh yeah, and I'll have 3 roommates moving out, and 3 new ones moving in.  The next few week or so is gonna prove to be quite nonstop I think.  And then I have a few weeks of normalness (working) and then out to CA for Sarah's wedding.  And that, of course, will be a solid week of action as well.  Family stuff, visiting friends stuff, stuff stuff, etc.  And a week after I get back from that, I leave for Montana for Nate and Kendras wedding.  That will be another 6 days filled with driving, friends, and good times.  And then all of a sudden after a month of lots and lots to do, I'll be dropped back in NW Iowa with the rest of the summer without any major plans outside of work.  Well, theres plans to make plans to go camping, but nothing set yet.  But rest assured, gental readers, camping will be happening.  I'm gearing up for it too, getting all sorts of fun camp equipment and such.  No less than 2 camping trips this summer, thats my goal.

Ok, Mulan is playing in the other room and I've never seen it, so I'm gonna go zone out for a while...
